Lakewood were second best against Innishvilla in Lakewood this morning. Innishvilla took an early lead scoring three goals before half time. There was a big improvement from Lakewood in the second half with Jack O’Sullivan and Diarmuid O’Keeffe driving Lakewood on. They got their reward with Jack O’Sullivan scoring from close range. Lakewood continued to press but Innishvilla went on to score two more goals. Lakewood players showed great heart and commitment, but it was not their day. Final score, Lakewood 1 Innishvilla 5.
