It took 20 mins to break the deadlock with chances at both ends. A quick throw from Liz O’Connor put Leah Murphy through who finished well 1 on 1. Lauryn Murphy between the sticks for Lakewood pulled off a great save before the break from a dipping shot, pushing it over the bar.
