Lakewood moved comfortably into the last 4 of the cup with a dominant performance at Wilton. Apart from the opening minutes when Wilton grabbed a shock lead, Lakewood controlled the game and were back level when Richard Cullinane stroked home from the spot after a clumsy push on Daragh Kealy on the quarter hour. Then .Two corners in quick succession were met by the head of Daragh O Shea . The first went just over but the second billowed the net for 2-1. Early in the second half Jack Mellerick made it 3-1 and it became 4 when Ben O’Connor sent in a screamer from 25 yards. An og made it 5-1 and captain Fionn OShea grabbed a double late on with two neat finishes as Lakewood made it into the semi finals for the second year in a row.
