It was not Lakewood’s day as they lost 4 -2 to Mallow United in the Cup. It was a very even game where both teams had their chances. Lakewood were unlucky to be down 2 – 0 at half time.
In the second half, Lakewood scored two goals, from Francis Dalebook and Daniel Foley. Mallow went on to score two more goals. On another day Lakewood could have won the match what with all the chances they had.
