A brilliant 2-1 win for the Premier Under 12s away to a strong Midleton side today! 2 outstanding finishes from Sean Richmond led to a 2-1 lead at half time. The second half was a great battle with no quarter being asked for or given. Danny Miskella hit the crossbar with the last shot of the game before the referee sounded the final whistle. Is was a gritty, hard working and high quality performance from the boys that extends their unbeaten run to 7 games. A special mention for the defence – goalkeeper Caolan Walsh, Cillian Fitzgerald, Elliot Fitzgerald and Adam O’Mahony don’t get amongst the goals a lot, but they have been outstanding over the course of this run with only 5 goals conceded. Well done to all!
