In a season when Lakewoood U12 Prem team was so close on two occasions to taking points from the runaway winners, today we completed a home and away victory set against Corinthians in this season’s league with a well deserved 2-1 victory. In this away fixture, George Howard opened our account with a sweet strike midway through the first half. Corinthians fought back to level early in the second half. Midway through the half, Ben O’Connell stepped up to collect a corinthians clearance on his chest, take it down and place his strike over the keeper and into the top right hand corner. Surely a worthy nominee for Goal of the Season. Great panel performance all round.
