U16 Premier League
Everton 0 Lakewood 7
A Good Friday for the U16s as they knock 7 past Everton
Ryan Nolan got on the end of Tyreik’s low cross-shot to slot home the 1st. Ryan then headed home the 2nd at the backpost from Tyreik’s cross once again. Jake O’Brien signalled his return to the team with the 3rd from the penalty spot after he had been sliced down in the box. HT 0-3
Lakewood continued their dominance in the 2nd half with Josh, Patrick, Dan and Liam on top in midfield and shipping in plenty of quality ball to the front-line. Just after cracking a long range effort off the bar, Tyreik supplied the 4th, when he darted inside the full-back and slipped it past the advancing keeper. Mark, in a more advanced role, added  two more, one with his left and one with his right, the 2nd the best of the 7, a glorious lob over the keeper after he broke inside 2 tackles. Jake Draper completed the scoring turning defenders inside out before drilling it low past the keeper.
Plenty of positives, including another clean sheet for Dara, who commanded his box well. While in front of him, the back-three of James, Brian and Conor never put a foot wrong and kept the home team outside them, restricting them to long range efforts only.
