Fun and games go lóir at the last of the girls academy sundays, finishing off a years of weekly sessions and blitzes.
The high numbers at the girls academy at the start of the year meant it was split into 2 age groups with the 6-8year olds going from 10.30-11.30am and the 8-10years from 11.30-12.30pm. With new recruits in both ages, there was great support and commitment throughout the year from the academy coaches Ali Brady, Leighann O’Shea, Kelly Buckley and Ruth Healy. They did an absolutely fantastic job in ensuring the young players enjoyed their time.
Chris Condon, academy co-ordinator, looks forward to starting back in early September next year and hopefully we’ll see even more young new players out to enjoy practising soccer and meeting new friends. Queries for next year text/call Chris 086-8815411
