Achieving qualification for the U17 UEFA European Championships was a massive milestone for the squad. Only 8 teams in total qualify for the group stages so Head Coach David Bell was very proud of his players, having grown into the competition as the week progressed.

The 17’s suffered defeat to England 5-0, in their opener and a late goal that broke the deadlock in their second group game against Norway meant it was impossible for the Irish team to progress beyond the group stage.  Éabha played her part in the Norway game, coming off the bench for 30 minutes game time.  Still a week short of her 15th birthday, Éabha has used the opportunity to gain valuable experience being part of an International tournament team.

The U17’s ended their European Championships adventure with a well-earned point against Group B winners the Netherlands.
