It was a proud day for Lakewood’s Heidi O’Sullivan who captained the Cork U12 team at the FAI U12 Interleague Regional Blitz held in Cahir on Sunday 7th May.
The Cork squad finished in 2nd position with wins over Wexford, Kerry and Waterford. A narrow defeat to South Tipperary in their first match of the day the only blemish in their copybook. Heidi rattled the net 4 times to help the team secure the 2nd place position.
Well done also to U18 player and assistant coach Kelly Buckley who supported the squad.
