Lakewood U18 Premier team got their season off to a winning start with a 3-0 win in the cup Sat morning. Joe Edmead scored early on after he showed good feet in the box and finished well after a neat turn. Dara Dorgan saved a penalty before a long range effort from Josh Cotter found the net for the second. And Nikita Lamonov headed the third early in the 2nd half after a great run and cross by Joe. The home team could have added to the scoreline with better finishing but were very solid defensively.
