Lakewoods fine start to the season continued with an excellent team performance against their east cork visitors. Deservedly up 2-0 at half time through strikes from Eoghan O’Sullivan and Conor Eagles, Lakewood continued to dominate and further goals from Jack Mellerick (2) and Fionn OShea put the game beyond the visitors before a late consolation gave a final score of 5-1. A really good result which was just reward for the energy and work rate of the team.
