Super performance from the lads who came extremely close to sharing the points before a late breakaway goal secured the points for the home side. Played in very heavy conditions and with a bare 11 Lakewood really gave it everything and the Ringmahon keeper was the busier of the two stoppers on show making especially good saves from a couple of Jamie Dineen and James Dwyer piledrivers. Scoreless at half time a long throw caused problems for the Lakewood defence for an unfortunate opener before the late second decided it.
