Tyreik Signs for Villa
A Huge Congrats to Tyreik Wright who has signed for Aston Villa
Tyreik who joined the Lakewood Academy at six
Played his first game for the Club in Terence McSweeney Park v Temple at Under 7
His commitment to the Club from then till the end of last season was always first class
After representing Cork through the age groups he then went on to the Irish Underage set up since he was 15 He is an inaugural part of these teams winning the Victory Shield last year and playing in 2 European U17 Championships losing in the Quarters this year to eventual winners the Netherlands
Tyreik has been on our coaching staff for our last 2 Summer Camps always eager to help and answer any of the kid’s questions and was happy to spend an hour each year signing the kid’s jerseys
We would like to wish Tyreik a long and successful club and International career and hope he won’t be a stranger when he visits home
