Lakewood Athletic U5/U6 Soccer Blitz vs Leeds

A fabulous morning of soccer as Leeds kindly played hosts to several age groups of teams from Lakewood Athletic. The U5 team, with the assistance of 1 U6 player to bring up our number, faced a similar Leeds team. The emphasis was on playing soccer and having fun, and both teams seemed to manage both well with a 3 period 45 minute game. This friendly match ended up a draw as both teams scored quite a few goals in this end to end action packed game. The man of the match award went to all players as both teams players were all great. A lovely touch from Leeds as their players awarded the blitz medals to the Lakewood players. Thanks to all players, parents, managers and Leeds for a great event.
