Lakewood 2-3 Macroom
Not a great performance today from the juniors which saw them lose to Macroom. Lakewood scored from the kick off when Arseni Lamenov finished after a fine passing move. After 10 minutes Macroom drew level and they were ahead 2-1 at half time.
In the second half and Lakewood drew level when Con Breen crossed for Kenny Murphy to head home from 10yards. The game was end to end and Macroom took the lead again. The home side had many chances to draw level in the last 20 minutes but couldn’t capitalise. Another disappointing result but we move on to next week with another home league game against Kanturk.
