It’s hard to lose a semi-final anytime but to go out to a terrible referee decision 2 minutes from time is heartbreaking and a tough learning curve for the young lads. By far the better team and dominant from the first whistle it was a day when the ball was just not going to end up in the Mallow net however hard they tried. A desperate punt out of defence by Mallow for the umpteenth time carried to the clearly offside forward who finished well to send the visitors line into raptures.
We wish Mallow well in the final and we go to play Douglas hall in our final game where a victory will make us league champions. It’s what this great bunch of lads deserve.
