Macroom A 1 Lakewood 13
13-1 away to Macroom in the second round of the national cup. A goalless first 10 minutes with a few good chances followed by a flurry of goals to go in 9-0 up at half time. The whole squad played a role in the team’s best performance of the season. Scorers on the day were Ciaran Duggan with four, hat tricks for Kevin Beechinor and Sean Richmond, and a goal apiece for Andrew Bradley, Daniel Kirstein on his return from injury, and birthday boy Dylan Brown! A special word of thanks to Dylan’s dad Keith who brought some lovely cake and lemonade for the players afterwards!
