The U13 A squad got a great start to their season today with a 5-2 win over Innishvilla this morning. Early on Innishvilla looked like they would be first to score with a few early attacks but Cathal and his defence managed to deny the visitors. Lakewood settled after a few minutes and started controlling the game. Arron Mc Carthy was the first to score about 10 mins in after receiving a lovely pass from Shad after he weaved through this Innishvilla defence. Sean O’Neill scored the second, after another great pass from Shadrach, he rounded the last defender and slotted it into the far corner. Rory O’Flynn made it 3-0 a few minutes after . Half time. Rory O Flynn found the net a few minutes in. pulled one back 10 minutes later with a top class free kick that just beat Cathal. 5 mins later Innishvilla scored another. Shad followed that up with another for Lakewood.
