Lakewood Under 12 Premiers drew 2-2 in the league today away to Mallow Town, in a revenge mission after Mallow’s extra time win in the National Cup last week. A win today would have put Mallow within two points of the top, but in truth they were lucky to escape with a point after a superb Lakewood performance. Twice Lakewood led, through Danny Miskella and the excellent Daniel Kirstein, only to be pegged back each time. The woodwork saved Mallow a couple of times and a last gasp Lakewood chance sailed inches over the bar. A super performance from the boys!
