Juniors bag 4 in Rylane

Bryan Kelly scored from close range after 35 mins to make it 1-0. His initial header was blocked but he followed up to score the rebound. Rylane equalized 3 minutes later with a long ball into the box, the Lakewood defenders failed to react and the centre forward capitalised to prod home from 5 yards out. This spurred Lakewood into action with 2 quick goals. Con Breen converted a free kick into the top corner from 20yards and Kenny Murphy coolly slotted home a penalty sending the keeper the wrong way to make it 3-1 at HT.

Rylane made it 3-2 10 minutes into the second half but lLakewood pushed on to finish the game strong. Jonny Rice Madden played an excellent through ball to Arseni Lamenov who passed the ball passed the Rylane keeper to make it 4-2 and put the away side back in control.

Lakewood were well in control for the remainder of the game.

Next week is a home game on Saturday at 2pm v Clonmel Celtic in Last 32 of Munster Junior Cup.
