Lakewood players Eabha O’Mahony and Zara Foley continue to represent Lakewood proudly on the International scene as the Womens U16’s squad look ahead to their second fixtures as part of the UEFA Women’s Under-16 Development Tournament
A narrow 1-0 defeat in the opening game against Sweden in which both Eabha and Zara started. Despite the loss, head Coach Sharon Boyle was delighted with her team’s performance. Both players have gained a wealth of experience this year. Their impressive play making and high work rate has seen them taking key roles in the Under-17 Championship Elite Round and a call up to the Senior International training camps.
